Jack Gardiner
Managing Partner

JackJack Gardiner, MRE Technology Solutions LLC (MRETEC) Managing Partner. Jack is a capstone member of the firm joining as the first employee in 2004. Jack brings 15 years of business development, staffing, and project management to the team.

Jack manages the strategic direction of MRETEC and oversees delivery of MRETEC Cyber Security, Analytical Services, Engineering Services, and Technical Services programs supporting both commercial and US government customers. Some customers include Unites State Air Force (USAF), Department of Defense (DoD), Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), United States Navy (USN), and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR).

Jack holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Colorado State University. He was born and raised in Annapolis, MD and is an avid boater and fisherman.

 

Andy Kendrick
Vice President

AndyAndy Kendrick is Vice President, Advanced Development Group for MRE Technology Solutions LLC (MRETEC). He brings over 20 years of intelligence analysis, program management, and business process improvement experience within the Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security, and Information Technology sectors.

Andy joined MRETEC from A1C Partners, LLC where he held the position of Vice President of Intelligence Accounts and led contractor efforts with respect to the Analytical Framework for Intelligence (AFI) at Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Prior to this, Andy served as Director, Submarine Platforms Division at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) and has previously supported numerous private sector and Federal government clients in large-scale Information Technology initiatives. He led the Project Monitoring and Control and Performance Management groups under the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) multi-billion dollar ITMS contract and has been a key consultant in multiple Fortune 100 companies’ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformations. Representative clients include the TSA, CBP, Pitney Bowes, ExxonMobil, and DuPont.

Andy holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, is a former Naval Submarine Officer, was a Qualified Engineer on Naval Nuclear Propulsion Plants, and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

 

Lucia Bender
Human Capital Manager / Benefits/Compensation

LuciaLucia Bender is Human Capital Manager for MRE Technology Solutions LLC (MRETEC). She brings over 13 years of intelligence analysis and Human Resources experience within Department of Defense and private sectors.

Lucia joined MRETEC from Herren Associates where she held the position of Human Resource Officer. Her duties while serving in this position included creating safety policy, streamlining new hire introductory processes to include comprehensive new employee orientation, human resources guidance and consulting for employee relations, organizational development, employment law compliance, and salary survey data collection to attract and retain staff.

Lucia holds GIAC Security Leadership Certification (DOD 8570 Certified), Maryland Health & Life License, and in the process in receiving her Professional Human Resource Certification.
